Whenever something goes awry, it is good just to go on and make something that is beyond many’s expectations, and give the world the finger in the process. That is what happened to King Ov Hell and Gaahl, losing the legal battle to use the Gorgoroth name and came out with something even nastier.

God Seed sounds like Gorgoroth on a full regiment of steroids and uppers. It is low growling, nasty evil riffs from hell and blast beats the fuck right out of you. These group of songs were suppose to be for Gorgoroth featuring King Ov Hell and Gaahl but it is apparent from what I was hearing that these songs were destined to be bigger and meaner than that.

One listen to any of these 9 songs, you get exactly what your needing - a churning, brooding maelstrom of undoubtedly the finest Black Metal ever released. I love the starting track simply titled 'Procreating Satan' and then the rest simply rolls along the same way with demonic frenzy. There is no studio tracks of these yet(as far as I could find out), but hearing them live just gives it that special malevolent feel that a stale recording studio could never give.

I love live recordings if they are done well and this album clearly is. Hail to God Seed - you prove that your better as this act, that what you were. Take this as a sort of unholy rebirth into a soul-tearing beast that is better than what you were, a fire-bird could not have done any better. Hail to thee, darkened well done to ya.
