I don't even know whether you would call this disc an album or a single. I mean its 40 odd minutes, which suggests an album, but then again its one track and one remix... so who knows? What is unquestionable is the quality of "The Hemophiliac Dream".

In a very big nutshell "The Hemophiliac Dream" is a wicked combination of obscure electronic ambience, blistering industrial subterfuge and general hypnotic activity. You know the less-measured moments of Tool (I am talking about the massive intros they have)? Think something along the lines of that and you have a fair inkling as to what is going on throughout the minds of 5ive and consequently "The Hemophiliac Dream".

What else can you say? I am sure this is a record that you will love or hate. It's creepy, and it invades your mind; probing and prodding at deeply buried memories and thoughts. 5ive have undoubtedly created a disc here that isn't meant for everyday listening (but I am sure they would be quite happy if you did listen to it on daily basis).

Bottom Line: This is a record for the folks that enjoy creeping atmospheres and mesmerizing textures. Not for the faint-hearted, but recommended, nonetheless.
