Review by Mario on September 11, 2007.

Months old news about Fred Estby leaving the ranks of Dismember left me wondering on the future of Swedish death metal. Quite surprising it really was to hear "Terra Necrosis," Nominon's 3rd full-length - a slab of classic, Sunlight studio-sounding quality material.

Yeah, remember that groovy, thick also catchy sound of the 90's? I have tried to avoid comparing (Nominon 2007) to other bands achievements but, seriously, who after getting acquainted with these 10 tracks would not recognize similarities with old Grave, Unleashed, Dismember, Entombed and maybe Comecon? Probably only new-comers would... or country music lovers. So, what can we expect here? Nothing more but fluently dominant guitar work, vocal delivered in midrange growls put over heavily distorted bass, and brutally executed drums. Everything flows 'Like an Ever flowing stream' - if you know what I mean.

Hey, if you think John McEntee got wrong here (his Ibex Moon Records released this cd in N. America) drop me a line of complaint.
And, yes, I am not worried anymore on the current condition of Swedish death metal!
