This album is a classic release that is very addictive and one of the better ones the genre has seen. It really establishes Overkill’s dirty sound quite nicely and shows them to be and outstanding thrash outfit. There are several catchy songs on here, but perhaps none as memorable as the outstanding “Playing with Spiders/ Skullcrusher”,which is really addictive.

The musicianship on the work is stellar with great guitar plaing, drumming and a classic vocal performance by Bobby Blitz. There isn’t anything that really surpasses the outstanding work on Horrorscope, but this is still excellent stuff. One will become addicted to the band and find them very easy to digest.

There isn’t really many flaws to the work other than the fact that they surpass this on the following release. There is a nice older feeling to the release and the band would modernize themselves more in the future. This is still one of the finest examples of the genre and really excellent stuff. There is not the high level of potency as Horrorscope, but this is still solid.

People looking for a great thrash release will be very satisfied with this. It has the right amount of riffage to make for an addictive listen. It is the best of their very early material and a stone solid classic. It is still not their greatest release and there are more catchy tracks on Horrorscope.
