Review by Adam M on October 8, 2025.

This album refines the sound that Immolation has made their own for a while.  There is a strong atmosphere here and the mood us definitely evil.  There is a nice progression from previous material and a new sound that is altogether huge and impressive.  The last album was good, but this one has a greater focus on the evilness of the band and manages to impress with its dark feeling, which pervades every second of the disc.

The musicianship is impressive and forms a solid backbone for the band’s needs.  The guitar work is solid and Ross Dolan’s vocals nicely fit in with the music.  The drums are strong and make for a powerful presence.  There is very little to fault with the musical performances as they cause a great deal of cacaphony and are quite impressive.

There is little to fault with the album as it is just a continuation of previous merits.  The lack of innovation is something the band should clear up in the future, however.  There are a lot of albums that sound like this and it is something new at this point.  Still, there is an interesting aspect to the band’s sound that makes them consistently entertaining.

In conclusion this is another great album by the band and continues their trend of solid albums.  It is nothing overly innovative, but they are likeable and this shows some of their finest moments.   There is very little to change there could be more progressive stylings to be found.
