MEGADETH, fueled by Dave Mustaine's triumphant return to the stage following his diagnosis and recovery of throat cancer, will embark on their first North American tour since 2017. LAMB OF GOD released their first new music in five years last week with the single "Checkmate." The track is the first to be released from the band's self-titled eighth studio album, due out May 8, which is one of the most anticipated and important metal records of the year. Norwegian black metal forefathers MAYHEM have signed a new deal with Century Media Records and announced the new album that will be released on October 25th.

The band comments: "Once again Mayhem is writing a new chapter in its 35 year history. We are excited to now have joined forces with Century Media and are eager to see what this partnership can do for us both in the future."

Soon after release date they will embark on European headline tour supported by GAAHLS WYRD and GOST.

The Chasm have announced their final A Conscious Termination of an Era US tour for this summer, featuring support from UK's Cruciamentum and Mexican Infernal Conjuration.

Here's an official statement from The Chasm:

"Here it is, we proudly and officially announce our first and final Tour here in the USA, 24 Dates starting on June 22nd in Columbus, OH and wrapping up in Los Angeles on July 16th. Our sincere appreciation to Metal Threat Booking for making this possible.

We sincerely invite and encourage all of you supporters of The Chasm to attend (if possible) any of this shows, since it definitely looks that this is it for us here in the US, no need to write all the reasons that made us take this difficult decision, bottom line is that we need to concentrate in playing in as many countries as possible before more time passes by, this plan will take some time to accomplish and we definitely don’t know if in the coming years after we are done with this new venture we’ll be in an optimal mental and physical state to continue playing live.

So, we are not quitting/disbanding, we are just moving on looking to play live in front of people from around the world, it may or may not happen, but surely we will go down in flames trying….

Finally…on the other hand nobody knows what the future will bring, but for now, this is the path we choose…Thanx for reading and we’ll see you soon on the road…"
